Roblox’s mobile-first AI creation workflow turns plain-language prompts into basic playable games that can be refined, tested, shared and published.

Build began public alpha testing on July 28, 2026, starting in New Zealand. Current access requires Android, account age 9+, a completed age check and a supported region.

What is Roblox Build?

Build is a mobile-first AI creation tab in the Roblox app for generating, refining, playtesting, sharing and publishing basic games from natural-language prompts.

Why is the Build tab missing?

Current official checks are supported region, Android mobile device, account age 9 or older, a completed age check and reopening the app.

Is Build currently supported on iPhone or iPad?

The current Roblox Support page lists Android as the device requirement and does not currently list iPhone or iPad as supported Build devices.

Does Build require a subscription?

No subscription is currently required. Build is free to start, includes daily AI usage and offers eligible Robux top-ups after free usage runs out.
